With no formal culinary training, he wrote The Irish Soda Bread Bible as a love letter to the kind of food anyone can make, no matter their background or experience. His debut cookbook draws on years of hands-on experimenting in the kitchen and offers a blueprint for success that’s rooted in honesty and ease. He currently splits his time between living in Ireland and the USA where he continues to coach rugby at Brown University, while still finding time to cook and bake soda bread for friends and family.
